Track every photomask by its mask ID, link the masks to the products that use them, and know where each mask is.
Overview
A mask set is the set of photomasks needed for all the lithographic steps to create a processed wafer.
In Mask Management every physical mask is a tracked item with its own mask ID. The product lists the masks it needs, and you assign one or more physical masks to each of them.
Capabilities
The mask set is shown on its own tab on the product: the masks assigned to it and the location of each mask.
Every mask has a location, so you can look up where it is stored or in use.
Select a mask set, scan the barcode of the new location and confirm. All masks in the set move with it, for example into the cleanroom.
Print labels with a barcode or QR code for the mask boxes, from your own label design.
The Flow Block Report displays the location of the masks.
Integration calls verify the mask at the place of use and check that masks are placed back in the correct location.
How it works
Step 1
Define the product and the masks it needs.
Step 2
Create the physical masks, assign them to the product and print the labels for their boxes.
Step 3
Move the mask set from its inventory location to the production floor.
Step 4
The step shows which mask to use. Load it to the equipment and store it back afterwards.
