Store incoming stock, pick what the production floor requests and deliver it to the right location.
Overview
Warehousing covers what happens to stock inside your warehouse: it is put away in a storage location, requested by the production floor, picked and delivered.
Each of these steps has its own page, so the warehouse team and the people on the floor work from the same requests and the same stock quantities.
Capabilities
Enter a request or a pick by scanning the barcode or QR code of the part, or select the part from a list.
Mark a request as priority when it is urgent. A notification email can be sent when a priority request is submitted.
The request list shows the stock available at the location the part is picked from, and warns when a pick would bring it below the minimum.
One table shows your parts with the quantities on order, in stock and on hold, the supplier and the lead time. It can be filtered by location and exported to Excel.
Print delivery labels for picked parts, and part or shelf labels when you put stock away or move it.
Stock that has passed its shelf life appears in a list of expired parts. You dispose of it from there, or let the disposal run on a schedule.
How it works
Step 1
Someone on the production floor requests a part with a quantity, a delivery location and a date.
Step 2
The warehouse team sees all open requests in one list and marks the ones to pick.
Step 3
The picker collects each requested part and clicks Done picking when the request is complete.
Step 4
The parts go out for delivery. When they have arrived, the delivery is confirmed and the request leaves the pick list.
